Photoelectric smoke detector
Description
Photoelectric smoke detector
The LE-SOC-24V Photoelectric Smoke Detector uses two dual-color LEDs to indicate status. In the normal standby state, the LEDs flash green every 3 seconds. When the detector senses that its sensitivity has deviated outside the UL listed sensitivity window, the LEDs will flash red every 3 seconds. When the detector senses smoke and goes into an alarm state, the status LEDs will turn red. The detector uses an infrared LED light source and a silicon photo-biode receiving element in the smoke chamber. In the normal standby state, the receiving element receives no light from the pulsed LED light source. In the event of a fire, the smoke enters the detector smoke chamber and the light is reflected from the smoke particles back to the receiving element.
